10215A–Your last chance this year!

If you are a Microsoft Partner in the Greater Toronto Area you might have heard that the Microsoft Partner Network offers subsidized courses on topics such as Server Virtualization.  Well due to overwhelming demand, they are doing it one more time.

The week of December 19th (Monday through Thursday) I will be teaching Course 10215A: Implementing and Managing Microsoft Server Virtualization, supporting the certification exam 70-659 TS: Windows Server 2008 R2, Server Virtualization.  This class will cover the entire curriculum, plus I will spend a great deal of time covering what is new in Service Pack 1, as well as a comparison between Microsoft and the competition.

For an overview of the course, click here!

The usual cost of this course is around $2,500, but because it is sponsored by Microsoft Canada the cost for this week is $499 (CAD)… and that includes breakfast and lunch each day!

The training will be held at TekSource Corporate Learning, very conveniently located a block from the Queen TTC station, at 36 Lombard Street (Suite 600), Toronto, Ontario M5C 2X3.  As a value-added benefit, TekSource is also an authorized Prometric Testing Center, so students can register to take the exam on-site at the end of the course.  In the past the vast majority of my students who sat the exam immediately after the course passed (including no fewer than FOUR of them who got perfect scores!)

If you are interested in becoming a MCTS: Windows Server 2008 R2, Server Virtualization then this is the course for you.  If your company is a Microsoft Partner, then this certification applies to the Silver Virtualization Competency (as well as the Gold!).  If your company is, like so many, trying to earn competencies in the new Microsoft Partner Network, then this course is a great step toward that goal.  Virtualization is, of course, one of the most popular requests right now because of the way the world is going!

To sign up, log on to your Microsoft Partner Portal or click to https://training.partner.microsoft.com/learning/app/management/registrationex/LMS_Registration.aspx?UserMode=0&Mode=0&ActivityID=750694.  I hope to see you there!

(If you are not in Toronto then the same course will also be offered in Vancouver the week of December 6, at MultiHat Solutions.  I will not be the trainer, but it is still a great course!)

This is a great course taught by a great instructor. Mitch will cover everything and help you pass the test.

I got perfect when I took his course. 🙂

    1. Chris you earned that perfect score! You worked hard, you paid attention, you ran the labs, and you asked good questions. There is no secret to passing, you just knew what was needed! Keep it up! -M

  2. Any chance of a repeat of this for 2012?

    1. Paresh we have done several 10215A courses in 2012. I do not know what the future holds but if you ask your Partner Account Manager they can influence that! -M
