As you have probably heard, the TechNet Subscription service is going away.  If you have your subscription because you are an MCT, or are hoping to get it because you are (or will soon be) an MCT, then there is a very important milestone coming up next week.

August 31, 2013 will be the last day that an MCT can activate their TechNet Subscription.

• If you are an MCT and have simply not activated your TechNet Subscription, August 31st is the deadline.  On September 1st you will no longer be able to activate it.
• If you are about to become an MCT, you will still receive that benefit as long as you register it before August 31st.  On September 1st it is gone.
